Sunnymel plant in New Brunswick moving forward

August 29, 2011 – Executives of Olymel and Groupe Westco have  announced the stages in the construction of the Sunnymel poultry slaughtering and cutting plant in New Brunswick. The plant will be located in the Village of Clair. Once in operation, the facility will have a slaughtering capacity of 450,000 birds/week, enabling it to serve the entire Maritimes market.
